Description

The Victoria S 571 A is a mains-powered tube radio receiver made in Bucharest by Radio Popular, the factory that became Electronica in 1960 [1]. It was assembled from kits imported from Hungary [1].

In 1958 it was one of the four receiver types assembled at the same time at Radio Popular, together with the Opereta, Romanța and Balada; it was also made in two variants [1]. The text includes it in a table of the first receivers of Romanian design (3 + 1 tubes, three wavebands, no tone control, 250 µV on medium waves, 100–3000 Hz) [1], while the annex lists it as assembled from Hungarian kits [1].

In the source table, sensitivity is given for 50 mW output, selectivity at 1 MHz for ±10 kHz detuning, the audio frequency response at −6 dB relative to 400 Hz, and output power at 10% distortion [1].
