Description

The Luchian VS 47-632 is a black-and-white tube television set with a 47 cm screen, made by Electronica in Bucharest in the series based on Japanese National kits [1]. It was made in versions A and B; the Luchian B has an electrostatic screen protecting against radiation [1].

In this series Electronica’s engineers radically improved the video amplifier, widening the bandwidth from 3 MHz (the Japanese standard) to 5 MHz (the OIRT standard) [1]. With the Tonitza, the Luchian opened the series of Romanian TV sets named after great 19th-century Romanian painters [1].

In the source table, video sensitivity is given for 6 V rms on the picture-tube cathode, sound sensitivity for 50 mW output, the selectivity values are, in order, the rejection of the own sound carrier, of the lower adjacent sound carrier, of the upper adjacent picture carrier, of the IF and of the image frequency, and the audio response at −3 dB [1].
