Description
The E0313 is an autoranging digital multimeter designed at the ICE research institute in Bucharest; its experimental model was approved on 20 March 1990 [1]. That model used the MMP190 integrated circuit made at Microelectronica, with a 3¾-digit display (5999), and measured DC and AC voltage and current, resistance and temperature (with a semiconductor sensor); an IEC 625 interface connected it to measuring and data-logging systems [1]. When the MMP190 went out of production the design was taken up again, probably as a prototype in 1991, with the Intersil ICL7135: it became a 4½-digit multimeter with seven functions, without temperature measurement or the IEC 625 interface [1].
