Description
The E0105 is a 100 MHz laboratory oscilloscope developed for IEMI in Bucharest. Only one unit was made, in 1985 [1]. Like the other IEMI oscilloscopes, it was designed at ICE, the Romanian institute for electronics research, in its electrical measurements laboratory [1].
1985 was also the year when IEMI’s oscilloscope production began to decline, as imports of specialised components were restricted [1].
It was a wide-band oscilloscope for precise measurements at high frequencies, used in the manufacture and maintenance of IF and pulse equipment and of computers [3]. Where the sources differ, the values from Electronica românească [3], taken from the manufacturer’s brochures, are shown.
