Description
The DET-2S is a stationary dosimeter, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1]. It measures X and gamma radiation doses, works out the exposure against safety limits and warns acoustically when dangerous thresholds are exceeded [1]. It also signals the time spent in contaminated areas and low batteries, and sends its data over the F-1001 system; it comprises the DET-2 unit, an external probe on a 150 m cable and a BAITS power unit [1].
