Description
The IPIBAR M1 is a video protection unit for ground radar stations, made by IEI in Bucharest [1]. Built into the video chain of a ground radar, it suppressed asynchronous interference to cancel false targets in a protected zone, on up to three video channels at once [1]. The M1 version protected 150–300 km and the M2 version 480 km; the IPIBAR M3 was meant for radio altimeter stations [1][2].
