Description

The IPIBAR is an installation protecting radar stations against asynchronous active and noise jamming, designed at the Military Technical Academy (ATM) and made at IEI, which put the IPIBAR family into manufacturing preparation in 1980–1988 [1]. The family comprised the IPIBAR, the IPIBAR M, the IPIBAR M1, M2, M3 and M4 for radio rangefinders and the IPIBAR R for radio altimeters [1]. They were made at IEI in series of hundreds and thousands of units, many of them exported [1]. The book’s photograph of the IPIBAR is dated 1980 [1].
