Description
The IPIBAR M4 is an installation protecting radio rangefinders against asynchronous active and noise jamming, designed at the Military Technical Academy (ATM) and made at IEI, which put the IPIBAR family into manufacturing preparation in 1980–1988 [1]. The family comprised the IPIBAR, the IPIBAR M, the IPIBAR M1, M2, M3 and M4 for radio rangefinders and the IPIBAR R for radio altimeters [1]. They were made at IEI in series of hundreds and thousands of units, many of them exported [1].
