R1260

The R1260 is a VHF radio station for voice links at platoon, company and battalion level, designed by ICSITA, made by IEI in Bucharest [1]. It was a light monobloc set carried by the operator, easy to use and maintain, and was made in large numbers; like the R1070 and R1071, it met severe requirements against shocks, dust and water and had good autonomy from its Ni-Cd battery [1].
