Description
The Grigorescu 1965 (VS 59-1965) is a black-and-white television set with a 59 cm, 110° picture tube, made by Electronica in Bucharest with kits from the Japanese firm Sanyo [1]. It differs from the Grigorescu VS 59-633 by changes to the audio amplifier and a slightly smaller cabinet [1].
Its four modules are the video-sound IF, the sound IF with FM demodulator, and the sync separator with the phase comparator and the line and frame oscillators [1]. A version with the same circuit and some Romanian components was the Național VS 59-663 [1].
In the source table, video sensitivity is given for 6 V rms on the picture-tube cathode, sound sensitivity for 50 mW output, the selectivity values are, in order, the rejection of the own sound carrier, of the lower adjacent sound carrier, of the upper adjacent picture carrier, of the IF and of the image frequency, and the audio response at −3 dB [1].
